Biography of Hajj al-Islam and the Muslims of Haj Sheikh Mehdi Mazaheri

I was born in 1310 in a spiritual, simple and religious family. At that time, the people of Isfahan remembered our family well. My father’s name was Sheikh Mohammad Hossein Karuni and my grandfather’s name was the late Hojjat al-Islam Wal-Muslimin Malamirza, who was one of the scholars and scholars of that region.

My uncle, the late Haj Mirza Hasan Shariati, was one of the valuable students of Mirza Hashem Khansari (brother of Ayat A… Mirza Mohammad Baqir Sahib Rouzat) and they had permission from him to study in Isfahan and then settled in Koron. When my father came to Isfahan and began to study and reached a scientific position, he settled in Isfahan and started teaching, setting up congregations and pulpit.

Although my father was very interested in my becoming a student, but some relatives did not agree with this due to the problems of that time, but my father insisted on this matter. They had my pulpit.

Finally, I became a student in 1320 and studied at Mirza Hossein School (next to Seyed Mosque); During this time, from the statements of gentlemen such as:

In Qom also from the presence of the great verses:

Then I returned to Isfahan again and used the witness of martyr Ayatollah Shamsabadi. During my studies and with the suggestion of some friends, we started reciting the Kameel prayer sessions. At first, I used to read this prayer by rote, but by God’s grace, I memorized it within a week, and in Agha Seyed Mahmoud Imam Mosque (Asari Mosque) ) I recited Kamil’s first prayer by heart in the presence of 8 friends

After some time, we moved the prayer meetings to the Salam Mosque where the late Sheikh Ismail Pashmi was praying. Little by little, the initial number of five or six people reached that the entire Shabestan and the space outside the Shabestan were filled with people. After some time, we were invited to Takht Polad to hold a prayer ceremony, and there we started to hold a prayer ceremony in Tekeh Kuhi and Tekeh Malek, and gradually it reached a point where several thousand people participated in this ceremony in the middle of Friday night. Of course, Isfahan didn’t even have a tenth of the current population that day.

Not only from the city of Isfahan, but also from other nearby cities such as Najaf Abad, Khorasgan, Khomeini Shahr, Shahreza, etc., many people came for the Kamil prayer ceremony. The Kamil prayer started two hours before the morning call to prayer, I went to the pulpit for 45 minutes, and after that, the Kamil prayer was recited for an hour and a quarter. Most of the old men who reach me now say that we were among the followers of Kamil’s prayers at that time. Most of the current officials are among those who used these prayer meetings. After the revolution, we moved the prayer to Jame Mosque and this prayer has been continued in this mosque for almost 30 years. Due to the insistence of our friends, we started praying for Abu Hamza about 57 years ago. The first meeting that was held was less than 10 people.

At that time, it was customary to recite Kamil’s prayer, and there were many people who held the prayer ceremony in Isfahan city. The prayer of Abu Hamzah was held in a limited way during the holy month of Ramadan, for example, once or twice a week, but we started to hold a prayer ceremony every 30 nights of the month of Ramadan, and every night all prayers were recited and the meetings were very spiritual. became. There were many people who changed their lives and were transformed in these meetings. For example, at the beginning of the revolution, a young man gave me a letter saying that we are some young people who had become communists and accidentally came to your prayer meetings and gave up our wrong path. There were many people who suffered intellectual, moral, etc. deviations and were guided to the right path by the grace of prayer sessions. After some time, we also fell on the path of doing good deeds for the needy, the sick, the blind, etc., all of which were the blessings of prayer.
